England Under-17s have made the trip to Portugal this week for the annual Algarve Tournament, as they prepare for next month’s Euro Elite Round Qualifiers.
Steve Cooper’s squad will face three games in five days on the Mediterranean coast, starting on Friday when they play the host nation in Parchal.
That will be followed up with a match against Germany at the Municipal Stadium in Albufeira on Sunday and then the final game is at the same venue against the Netherlands on Tuesday 14 February.
The Young Lions have been regulars in the Algarve Tournament over the years, which often sees an experimental squad involved as head coach Cooper assesses his options for the Elite Round.
They travel to Bosnia & Herzegovina in March for those games, which sees them pitted against the host nation, Czech Republic and Slovenia.
All three of their games will take place at Gradski Stadium in Bijeljina, with the Czechs up first on 23 March, before they play Slovenia two days later.
The Elite Round will be completed on 28 March against Bosnia & Herzegovina, with the top nation automatically progressing, along with the seven best runners-up from the eight Elite Round groups, to the Euro Finals in Croatia during May.
