Burnley defender James Tarkowski is suspended for three matches

James Tarkowski will miss Burnley’s next three matches after he was charged with violent conduct.

He accepted the charge but argued the suspension was excessive. This was rejected by an Independent Regulatory Commission.

The defender was involved in an off-the-ball incident with Brighton’s Glenn Murray during Saturday’s game [16 December].
