Crystal Palace FC sanctioned

An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Crystal Palace FC for breaching FA Rule E21 at its Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest FC on Sunday 24 August.

It was alleged that the club failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters (and anyone purporting to be supporters or followers) didn’t behave in an improper, offensive, abusive, insulting and/or provocative way at this match.

Crystal Palace FC subsequently denied the charge. The Regulatory Commission found it to be proven and imposed a £50,000 fine following a hearing. Its written reasons for these decisions can be seen below.
