England Women’s duo Laura Bassett and Ellen White visited Rotherham on Wednesday ahead of their match against Belgium next week.
The Notts County pair first visited the New York Stadium, where they will play on Friday 8 April (7.55pm KO) in a UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 qualifier.

The Lionesses then headed to JD Sports at Meadowhall Shopping Centre where they met supporters and players from the Crosspool Junior U10s girls’ team. Crosspool are currently top of the Fair Play standings in the Sheffield & Hallamshire region.
Tickets for the Belgium match are priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. A family ticket is available at £10 (two adults and two children) and group booking discounts apply.
England have a 100 per cent record in their qualifying campaign so far, registering two wins from two.
White, who scored the winner against Canada when England last played in Rotherham in 2013, said: “It was great to come to Rotherham and meet so many young girls who want to play football and support England.

“As players we want to inspire as many girls as possible to play football and seeing how enthusiastic Crosspool U10s were was really inspiring for us.
“Belgium will be one of our toughest games in this qualifying campaign but we’re determined to get the win and continue our 100 per cent record in front of home supporters.”
Crosspool player Charlie said: “It feels amazing to meet Laura Bassett and Ellen White and get their autographs.
“I am a big, big fan of the England team and they are two of my favourite players.”
