He said: “We need the support of everyone in Rotherham to come down and make the New York Stadium rock for our Lionesses.

“They have had a great start to their campaign on the back of an amazing performance at the World Cup in Canada.”

Webb, who took charge of the 2010 World Cup Final, added: “I’d urge anyone to come down and watch some great athletes playing some great football and hopefully continuing that great start to their qualifiers.”

Tickets are priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. A family ticket is available at £10 (two adults and two children).
