The Three Lions team met up at St. George’s Park on Sunday evening to begin their preparations for their Euro Qualifying double against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Switzerland.

First up is the trip to Sarajevo to face the Bosnians on Thursday before Gareth Southgate’s men return to familiar territory for March, with the Switzerland game being staged at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium.

And with Albion’s new training facility in Lancing set to be England’s base for three days before the game next Monday, the Seagulls starlet believes the Three Lions will like what they see.

"It will be strange to go down to Brighton and train with the England lot, so that will be a nice experience to do that," he said.

"I think everyone will be really impressed with it, as the facilities are pretty good and it’s probably up there with the best places in the country.

"There are top facilities for us to use and be able to prepare for the game."

March is looking forward to training with England on home turf at Brighton

March, 21, has been a regular for Albion this term, as the Seagulls remain unbeaten and among the leading pack in the Championship. He also joins the U21s squad on the back of a stunning goal in their win over MK Dons at the weekend.

And he will not be the only Brighton youngster in the England squad, with fellow U21 regulars Jake Forster-Caskey and Christian Walton also included in Southgate’s selection.

"It’s been a big thing for Brighton to start getting younger players in the England set-up," added Eastbourne-born March, who has also seen youngsters from Brighton selected in the U16s and U17s squad.

"That helps the academy to attract more players and it’s good for the club to get recognition at international level."

As for Albion’s start to the season, March puts it down to influence of boss Chris Hughton who took over on the south coast midway through last term.

March, who has previously featured under Southgate at the Toulon Tournament in 2014 before making his U21s debut against USA in September, missed most of the last campaign through injury.

March has been a regular in Chris Hughton's side so far this season

But he says he is now enjoying his football at the Amex Stadium under Hughton and comes into November’s games full of confidence.

"Last year, Hughton only had a few months to get an idea of what players he had and what he needed to bring in this year to get the club pushing towards the top of the table," he added.

"So he’s done that, and we’re thrilled with the start to the season, which is probably why we are where we are right now."

You can read a full interview with Solly in the Club England programme for November, which will be available at the U21s game next Monday as well as at the U19s’ match with Japan in Manchester on Sunday 15 November and the U17s' clash with Germany in Rotherham on Friday 20 November.

And tickets for the U21s’ game at Brighton are on sale now, priced at £10 and £5, from the Albion ticket office by clicking here or called 0844 327 1901.
