Highworth Town manager John Fisher says "nerves have started to kick in" as his side head into one of the biggest games in the club's history on Saturday.

This is the first time the Wiltshire outfit have made the quarter-final stages of The FA Vase with a 2-0 away win over Bradford Town securing their place in the round, while opponents Tadcaster Albion booked their spot in the last eight with an impressive 3-0 away win over AFC Mansfield.

The Brewers' Fifth Round win was their fourth win away from home in the cup competition, but Fisher believes this will be irrelevant come Saturday; with the Worthians' Park Elm Recreation Ground offering up an unpredictable surface that only his side knows how to manipulate.

"We are at home so the advantage is with us; the pitch isn't the best because it has quite a big slope on it but we know the way we play on the pitch," Fisher told TheFA.com.

"Tadcaster will come down and most probably think 'oh my god'.

"Most sides that have come to play at Highworth have struggled so we will use our knowledge and experience of the pitch to try and get the result."

The Worthians come into this tie off the back of a 4-1 defeat to Flackwell Heath in the Hellenic Premier Division where they sit in eighth position.

The Brewers, however, head to Wiltshire buoyed by a 3-2 away win over Maltby Main which consolidates their position at the summit of the Northern Counties East League.

Despite Tadcaster coming into this tie with a win under their belts, Fisher believes that the belief of his players can help in moving the club one step closer to the Wembley Final.

Fisher said: "The biggest strength we have is grit and determination because the players don't know when they are beat. We have been losing on a few occasions but we have always bounced back – we showed it against Tunbridge Wells when we were 2-0 down."

"Getting to Wembley would be massive for the club and everyone is starting to believe; the nerves have started kicking in now because we have got so far."
