Demi Stokes has emerged as England's first-choice No3

It has been quite a year for Demi Stokes.

The left-back made her England debut in the 1-1 draw with Norway in January and went on to appear in 10 of England’s 13 matches in 2014.

She travelled to the Cyprus Cup in March, starting three of England’s four games.

Less than a month later Stokes made her home debut against Montenegro in Brighton – and topped off her big day by scoring one of the Three Lions’ nine goals in an emphatic victory.

The 23-year-old featured in four World Cup qualifiers this year including the 4-0 win over Wales that clinched a place at Canada 2015.
