FA charges - July 2022

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT IN RELATION TO INTERMEDIARY ACTIVITY 

Liverpool FC, Premier League 

Two breaches of FA Rule E1.2: 


1. It  is  alleged that the Club used and/or paid an Intermediary for Intermediary Activity while the Intermediary was not entitled to act under a valid Representation Contract, contrary to Regulation A2 of The FA’s Working with Intermediaries Regulations.
2. It is alleged that the Club failed to ensure that all relevant contracts and documents in relation to the Transaction contained the name, signature and registration number of the Intermediary, contrary to Regulation A6 of The FA’s Working with Intermediaries Regulations.

The Club have until 8 August 2022 to provide a response. 

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT IN RELATION TO INTERMEDIARY ACTIVITY

Two breaches of FA Rule E1.2: 


1. It is alleged that the Intermediary arranged matters so as to conceal their involvement in Intermediary Activity, contrary to Regulation A3 of The FA’s Working with Intermediaries Regulations. 
2. It is alleged that the Intermediary carried out Intermediary Activity, without entering into a valid written Representation Contract, contrary to Regulation B1 of The FA’s Working with Intermediaries Regulations.

The Intermediary has until 8 August 2022 to provide a response. 

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT IN RELATION TO INTERMEDIARY ACTIVITY

Breach of FA Rule E1.2 - It is alleged that the Intermediary arranged matters so as to conceal and/or misrepresent the involvement of another Intermediary in Intermediary  Activity, contrary to Regulation A3 of The FA’s Working with Intermediaries Regulations.

The Intermediary has until 8 August 2022 to provide a response.

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT

Breach of FA Rule E3 - Misconduct in respect of a comment made during the PGMOL Conference on Friday 24th June 2022 at The Radisson Blu Hotel, Heathrow. It is alleged that the Participant used improper and/or abusive and/or insulting language, contrary to Rule E3.1. It is further alleged that this breach of Rule E3.1 is an “Aggravated Breach”, as defined in Rule E3.2, as the language included a reference to, whether express or implied, to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race.

The Participant has until 8 August 2022 to provide a response.

Two breaches of FA Rule E20.1 and E20.2: 

1. It is alleged that in/or around the 85th minute of the fixture, Bristol Rovers Football Club failed to ensure that its spectators, and all persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from using threatening and/or violent behaviour whilst encroaching onto the pitch area.
2. It is further alleged that at the conclusion of the fixture, Bristol Rovers Football Club failed to ensure that its spectators, and all persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

INCIDENT OF MISCONDUCT IN RELATION TO BETTING

Breach of FA Rule E8 - Misconduct under FA Rule E1(b) in respect of 97 bets placed on football matches between 09 February 2021 to 23 January 2022.
The Participant has until 21 June 2022 to provide a response.

The Club have until 18 July 2022 to provide a response.
