In preparation for their first-ever Premier League campaign, Brentford have become the latest football club to utilise the state-of-the-art facilities at St. George’s Park as a pre-season basecamp.

Last year’s Championship play-off winners were hosted at the home of England’s teams for a week-long training camp which comprised of the Bees’ first team and a selection of the club’s ‘B’ team players.

To kick-start the week of preparations, Brentford played a pre-season match against fellow newly-promoted side Watford prior to arriving at St. George’s Park and worked hard during their stay in Staffordshire to build up to a mid-week friendly with Manchester United.

The camp at St. George’s Park also enabled Brentford recruit Frank Onyeka the first opportunity to link up with his new team-mates since his move from FC Midtjylland.

Across the week, Brentford utilised both the state-of-the-art strength and conditioning facilities, as well as the pristine pitches, whilst also enjoying the superb Hilton Hotel on site.
