England U17s' hopes of securing a first win of the NTC Invitational Tournament took a dent on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Japan.

John Griffiths' side, who lost their opening game 2-0 to hosts the USA, took a 30th-minute lead against Japan through Liverpool's Niamh Charles.
