Belgium
Manager: Marc Wilmots
Age: 45
As a player, Wilmots accumulated 70 caps for Belgium, and played in four World Cup finals. With five goals he is Belgium’s all-time top scorer at the tournament. After being the Belgium assistant coach for three years he was given the full-time job in 2012.
Previous jobs: Schalke 04 (2003), Sint-Truiden (2004-05), Belgium (assistant manager 2009-12).
Killer fact: Wilmots has also worked as a politician, having sat in the Belgium Senate for two years.
Russia
Manager: Fabio Capello
Age: 67
The former England coach boasts an impressive track record. During his career he has won five Serie A and two La Liga titles. He took charge of Russia in 2012 and is contracted until 2018, when they host the World Cup.
Previous jobs: Milan (1991-96 & 1997-98), Real Madrid (1996-97 & 2006-07), Roma (1999-04), Juventus (2004-06), England (2008-12).
Killer fact: Capello is a collector of fine art and his collection is said to be worth over £10m.
South Korea
Manager: Hong Myung-bo
Age: 45
Considered one of the greatest Asian players of all-time, Hong was appointed in 2013. He previously coached South Korea’s younger sides, leading the U23 team to bronze at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Previous jobs: South Korea U20 (2009), South Korea U23 (2009-2012).
Killer fact: Hong is the only Asian player to have played in four consecutive World Cup finals.
Algeria
Manager: Vahid Halilhodzic
Age: 61
A Bosnian manager and ex-player, he has been in charge of the Algeria national team since 2011. ‘Vaha’ made his name as a player for Velez Mostar, Nantes and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in the 1980s. The Algeria boss played 15 times for Yugoslavia.
