BIO

The FA Crest

Aaron Wan-Bissaka earned his first senior England call-up at the start of the 2019-20 season, having made an impressive start with Manchester United following a move from Crystal Palace.

The lightning-quick defender had burst onto the Premier League scene with the Eagles over the previous 18 months and really caught the eye under the guidance of former Three Lions manager Roy Hodgson.

A product of Palace's academy having grown up in Croydon, Wan-Bissaka's first England cap came at U20 level in March 2018 before he progressed into the U21s in September that year and was part of the squad which travelled to Italy for the U21 EURO Finals in 2019.

Ironically, he had previously played against England as a striker back in 2015 when he featured for DR Congo's U17s in a friendly match against the Young Lions at St. George's Park.
