Rio Ferdinand was given a three-match suspension

The Independent Regulatory Commission has released its written reasons for the Rio Ferdinand case.

This follows the decision to suspend Ferdinand for a period of three matches and to fine him £25,000.

Both The FA and Queens Park Rangers were served the reasons on Monday 3 November 2014. Either party has the right to an appeal and must notify their intention to appeal by Monday 10 November 2014.
