Javi Gracia celebrates Watford's semi-final win over Wolves

The Emirates FA Cup Final will be even better than the semi-final because it’s the moment when the trophy is in play. You have to enjoy the moment, and to try to win it.

It is a special day for all the fans but particularly the Watford fans. It was an amazing experience in the semi-final, to see all the yellow, to hear all the songs and to celebrate with them.

It will be a difficult game for us as Manchester City have some great players and are a great team, everybody knows this. But in football you always have a chance.

You never know what is going to happen, even if you are playing against one of the best teams in the world. We have to be ready to show our best and if we can find a way to compete against them, then we can do it.

The last time the club came close in this competition was in 1984 when the great man Graham Taylor was the coach – and I hope we can win it for him, for his family and all of our supporters. All of us know how important it is and I have no doubt about our commitment.

The FA Cup is an important competition to the club and I didn’t realise how special the competition was until I came here. When you are in Spain or in Russia you are concentrating on your own competitions but as soon I arrived in England, I felt how special The FA Cup is.

My first game in England was in The FA Cup against Southampton. It’s a very good competition with good organisation and I love how it gives a chance to all the clubs in England. Our trip to Woking in the third round was very special and I looked out for their result in the next game.

I will be proud of my players whatever happens. I don’t need to play in a final to be proud of them. There is already a lot to be proud about this season, a lot we have been able to share with our supporters.

Sometimes you can get a result to be even more proud but we are already satisfied with what we have done before. Now it’s the moment to enjoy this match, and try and win it.
