Mo Marley's England U21s set for games in La Manga with France, Sweden and Norway

Mo Marley will train with her U21s squad in April

Mo Marley has named her England U21 squad for the forthcoming La Manga U23 Tournament.

The 20-strong group take on France (3pm, Friday 5 April), Norway (3pm, Sunday 7 April) and Sweden (12pm, Tuesday 9 April).

Young Lionesses head coach Marley said: “We are all looking forward to the challenge of playing against some of the strongest U23 teams in Europe.

“It’s a great opportunity for our players to experience multiple games, similar to tournament football, which is perfect for preparing our players for senior football.” 

The squad

Goalkeepers: Sophie Baggaley (Bristol City), Sandy MacIver (Clemson University), 

Defenders: Jess Carter (Chelsea), Megan Finnigan (Everton), Grace Fisk (South Carolina University), Taylor Hinds (Everton), Maz Pachecho (Reading), Anna Patten (Florida State University), Lucy Parker (Louisiana State University), Lotte Wubben-Moy (University North Carolina), Rebecca Rayner (Sheffield United)*

Midfielders: Chloe Peplow (Brighton and Hove Albion), Mollie Rouse (University of Central Florida), Alessia Russo (University of North Carolina), Connie Scofield (Birmingham City)

Forwards: Rinsola Babjide (Liverpool), Ellie Brazil (Brighton and Hove Albion), Rianna Dean (Tottenham Hotspur), Ella Toone (Manchester United), Charlie Wellings (Birmingham City)

* Replaces Gabby George (Everton) who withdrew injured
