The first thing I remember about the World Cup is Ronaldinho’s goal against England in 2002, unfortunately.

I was in Year 5 or 6 at the time and we watched the game in school. My teachers got some drums out to get a bit of an atmosphere going.

Obviously things didn't go our way and I saw a few pupils crying when we got knocked out.

Sixteen years later and I’m going to the World Cup myself.

As a footballer you try and take things in your stride but you do have to pinch yourself sometimes.

We’re lucky to be doing what we love and now I’m going to Russia with England.

When you take a step back and think about it, it’s a huge achievement for us all.

The Three Lions have two matches before they head to Russia, against Nigeria at Wembley on Saturday 2 June and then Costa Rica in Leeds on Thursday 6 June.
