Eric Dier says he hopes to inspire the youngsters of England whenever he represents his country

It’s a unique experience and a unique feeling, there’s nothing else like it and you don’t get the same feeling in any other type of football.

You’re representing your country and every little young boy or girl who one day dreams of playing for England themselves.

You’re the ones that the whole nation is cheering on, which is different to when you play for your club up and down the country.

Almost every little boy in England will be watching us at the World Cup and it’s up to us to try and inspire them.

And that’s something which I always try to do every single day, with both club and country, to represent yourself to the best of your ability.
