  • Winning clubs receive £825

Added to that are 32 teams from Step 5 of the National League System, who enter the competition at this stage after finishing in the top four of their divisions last term without being promoted to the Buildbase FA Trophy.

It was a busy weekend in the Vase, with 167 ties played in the second round qualifying, with eight replays scheduled from those and three ties set to be decided after two postponements and an abandoned game between London Lions and Malmesbury Victoria, due to a serious injury to a player.

First round ties will take place on Saturday 21 October and winning clubs will receive £825 and losing clubs will receive £275 from the FA’s prize fund.
