England Under-21s were on their travels on Tuesday, as they headed to Aktobe ahead of this week's Euro Qualifier with Kazakhstan.

The Three Lions headed east knowing that a win in Thursday's game will be enough to secure their place at next summer's Euro Finals in Poland.

And with Aidy Boothroyd aiming to finish the job after Gareth Southgate had led his old squad to top of Group 9, the team will be well prepared after the longest journey they will have to make in their qualifying campaign.

After leaving St. George's Park following a morning training session and lunch, and a last-minute good bye from last month's team-mate Marcus Rashford, it was a near-six hour flight and with the local time in Aktobe being four hours ahead of BST, it meant an arrival at their new base in the early hours of Wednesday.

The squad will train at the venue for the game on Wednesday evening, as Boothroyd and his staff put their final preparations into place before heading back to home soil for the final qualifier with Bosnia & Herzegovina at Walsall on Tuesday 11 October.

Tickets for that game cost just £1 and are on sale now via the Walsall FC ticket office. More details can be found by clicking here.
