England Under-21s began their preparations for this week's trip to Kazakhstan with their first training session at St. George's Park.

The Three Lions reported for duty on Sunday evening, where they were met by senior interim head coach, and their usual boss, Gareth Southgate for a handover to his temporary replacement Aidy Boothroyd.

And the players were out on the pitch the following morning, as they begin work towards Thursday's clash with their Euro qualifying group rivals in Aktobe.

FATV were there too, to catch the best of the action with new boy Tammy Abraham quickly settling into the group following his first call-up to the U21s after making an electric start to life in the Championship on loan to Bristol City from Chelsea.

The squad will train again on Tuesday morning, before heading east to Kazakhstan for a match that will be screened live on BT Sport. A win in Aktobe would be enough to secure automatic qualification for next summer's Euro Finals in Poland.
