England C squad named for upcoming Ukraine trip

Paul Fairclough's squad includes seven new faces

England C manager Paul Fairclough has named a 16-man squad for his side's upcoming clash with Ukraine.

The fixture, which will be played in Kiev on Tuesday 22 March at 3pm local time, is the opening game of the International Challenge Trophy.

Commenting on the match, Fairclough said: "This is an interesting game against new opponents who will no doubt be technically good.

"I am excited about the squad, which is one of the strongest we have had for some time."

The fixture in Kiev is followed by a home game against Slovakia on Sunday 5 June at a venue to be confirmed. The third group fixture will be in Estonia in November.
