Dover Athletic will travel to Nantwich in The FA Trophy quarter final

Stefan Payne scored twice as Dover Athletic comfortably saw off 10-man Guiseley AFC 3-0 to book an FA Trophy quarter final clash at Nantwich Town.

Dover headed into half-time a goal to the good and a man up after Will Hatfield was shown a red card for a strong challenge on Ricky Modeste.

Nicky Deverdics doubled the visitors’ lead after the break before former Gillingham man Payne wrapped up the victory with a late third following a mix-up between Steven Drench and Danny Lowe which allowed the striker a free run at goal.

Nantwich advanced with a late Steve Jones goal enough to see them squeeze past Stourbridge 1-0 at home.

With a minute left on the clock Jones rose highest to head home a Sean Cooke free-kick and send the Dabbers into the last eight.

And Torquay United also won 1-0 in round three as Nathan Smith struck the only goal on 67 minutes to win a replay at Macclesfield Town.

Seven days previously the two teams shared six goals but this game was a different story as they entered half-time at 0-0.

But just after the hour Smith won the game for the visitors as he headed home from a corner.
