SSE Women's FA Cup third round qualifying draw announced

The SSE FA Women's Cup
The draw for the third round qualifying of The SSE Women’s FA Cup has been made at Wembley Stadium on Monday. 

The 48 ties are due to be played on Sunday, 11 October 2015, with the winners each collecting £200 from The FA’s prize fund.

Two clubs who have rattled in the goals in the previous two rounds have both been handed away ties.

Acle United have put out Huntingdon Town 9-0 and Newmarket Town 11-1 and now travel to Luton Town. AFC Wimbledon, conquerors of Regents Park Rangers and Abbey Rangers 9-0 and 10-0 respectively, go to Gillingham.

The draw has again smiled on Wealdstone, giving the Middlesex side their third consecutive home tie. The Stones have already accounted for Banbury United 3-2 and Newbury 3-1 and will welcome Bedford to Grosvenor Vale next month.

The country’s top teams from The FA WSL 1 enter the competition in the fifth round proper next March and the Final will be played at Wembley on 14 May. 

Last season’s showpiece attracted more than 30,000 to the national stadium.
