Dele Alli faces up to six weeks on the sidelines
Dele Alli has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks – which could rule him out of England U19s’ European Championship ambitions.

Sean O’Driscoll’s Young Lions travel to France at the end of March for their Elite Round Euro qualifiers against the host nation, Azerbaijan and Denmark.

The 18-year-old has not only performed on the international stage this term, he has produced a number of match winning displays in League One for MK Dons, earning him a move to Premier League Tottenham Hotspur in January.

Alli was loaned back to the Dons for the remainder of the season, but picked up an ankle injury last week in their 1-0 win over Colchester United, a game in which he scored the only goal – his 14th of the season.

The youngster has since returned to his parent club for treatment.
