Adam Armstrong looks ahead to Newcastle United's Youth Cup tie with holders Chelsea
He may have just turned 18, but Adam Armstrong has already played at the Emirates, Old Trafford and in a Tyne-Wear derby for Newcastle United.

So having set foot on some of the biggest stages, you know how much Monday’s FA Youth Cup quarter final means to the England U18s striker when he describes it as "massive".

The Magpies face holders Chelsea at St. James Park, with admission free for fans, at 7.05pm as they look to lift The Cup for the first time since Paul Gascoigne inspired them to glory 30 years ago.

"The Youth Cup's a massive tournament and all the lads love it," Armstrong told NUFCTV.

"When we played last year, it was a massive buzz and now we've got Chelsea again so we'll see what happens."

United beat Sunderland on penalties in the Fifth Round having beaten Middlesbrough and Millwall previously.

Chelsea have hit six goals in each of their last two matches in the competition, and although he knows it will be tough, Armstrong says he and his team-mates will be giving everything to progress.

"On the day, anything can happen," he said.

"We played Chelsea last year and gave it a right good go. They came out better on the day with the quality they had, but we'll go in strong for it."

Admission at St. James' Park on Monday night is FREE to all supporters via the East Stand turnstiles, which will open one hour before kick-off.
