England Women's Under-17s will head to Iceland for this summer's Euro Finals after a 2-0 win over the Netherlands in Cobh on Tuesday afternoon.

Goals from Carlotte Wubben-Moy and Georgia Stanway in either half proved enough to fire John Griffiths' side to victory and seal top spot in their Elite Qualifying Round group.

The Lionesses went into their final game knowing that they had to win their game and hope group hosts Republic Of Ireland wouldn't beat Hungary.

And when that game in Cork ended goal-less, it meant England had done enough to top the table and reach the last eight of the competition.

It follows on from last weeks success for the Women's U19s, who also reached their Euro Finals courtesy of a controversial draw with Norway in Belfast.

The U17s finals take place in Iceland from 22 June to 4 July.
