Wednesday 29 Oct 2014
The First Round Proper takes place on the weekend of 8/9 November
FC Halifax Town will host Yorkshire rivals Bradford City in The FA Cup First Round after a resounding 5-0 win over Chorley on Tuesday.

Town hit five without reply as they saw off their fellow non-league outfit in their Fourth Round Qualifying replay.

The impressive Halifax were in superb form as Scott Boden's strike and doubles from Richard Peniket and Adam Smith had the majority of the 1,700 crowd cheering with joy.

Hemel Hempstead’s Cup dream lives on as they reached The First Round proper for the first time since 1938 as they beat Nuneaton 2-0.

The last time they reached this stage the club was known as Apsley and played in the Spartan League, but they will now travel to Bury after a famous victory was sealed with two goals in extra-time.

Alfreton – whose striker Anthony Howell was forced to play in goal for the entire game after an injury crisis – saw their hopes ended as they lost 5-1 at Lincoln City.

Their only fit goalkeeper, James Severn, ruptured a thigh muscle in Saturday's draw between the sides and Howell had to don the gloves.

But he was left helpless as Sean Newton scored Lincoln's first FA Cup hat-trick since 1938 as they progressed to meet Eastleigh.

Barnet also eased through their replay, beating Chelmsford 4-1 with Luisma Villa scoring the final goal to add some gloss to the score as they progressed to face Wycombe.

Wrexham will face Woking after the Welsh side beat Macclesfield 5-2 in hugely impressive style, Andy Bishop scoring twice before missing squandering the chance of his hat-trick after seeing his penalty saved.

Telford United beat Spennymoor Town 3-0 to secure a trip to Basingstoke, who won 4-1 at Harrow Borough after extra-time.

Braintree Town triumphed in perhaps the game of the night, beating Weymouth 5-3 after extra-time to secure a First Round tie with Chesterfield.

The game swung Braintree's way when Simeon Akinola grabbed his second of the night to put his side back in front after Weymouth had fought back to make it 3-3 late on in normal time. Dan Walker grabbed a late fifth.
