England Women's U17s get second win in Euro qualifiers

England Women U17s made it two wins from two games in Bulgaria on Tuesday afternoon to secure their place in the Elite Qualifying Round of the European Championship.

The Young Lionesses got off to an emphatic start on Sunday when they beat Moldova by 9-0 and they were in similar form against the group hosts in their second match.

It took just 13 minutes for them to open the scoring through Hannah Cain, before captain Grace Fisk doubled the advantage on the half-hour mark.

Fisk got her second of the game just shy of the hour mark when she met Chloe Kelly's corner and sub Georgia Stanway added a quickfire brace with strikes in the 72nd and 75th minute.

John Griffiths' side will play their third and final game of the First Qualifying Round on Friday when they take on Russia to decide who will top the group.

England Women U17s (4-4-2): 13 Alexandra Maciver; 2 Anna Patten, 5 Lucy Parker, 15 Grace Fisk (c), 3 Mayumi Pacheco; 10 Hannah Cain, 16 Georgia Allen, 7 Kess Elmore, 11 Mahlah Catline; 9 Chloe Kelly, 4 Chloe Peplow. 

Substitutes: 12 Danielle Brown for Pacheco (41), 6 Megan Finnigan for Peplow (55), 17 Georgia Stanway for Kelly (69).

Substitutes not used: 1 Sian Rogers, 8 Alessia Russo, 18 Zoe Cross, 14 Ashleigh Plumptre.
