Craig Tomkins treble gives Uxbridge FA Trophy victory

Uxbridge were the biggest winners of the day in the FA Trophy First Round Qualifying after they came away with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Hythe Town.

Craig Tomkins netted a hat-trick to help his side book their place in the next stage.

Matt Woods fired a brace while Wayne Carter completed the rout for the Middlesex club.

Mangotsfield United were also big winners as they celebrated a 5-1 win over Bishop's Cleeve.

Lewis Powell had a day to remember after he netted four goals for the Southern League Division South and West side. Reeko Best also got his name on the scoresheet.

Darlington 1883 were the big away winners of the day after they thrashed Scarborough Athletic 4-0.

Liam Hatch, Stephen Thompson and Amar Purewal were among the scorers and it will be a happy trip home for Martin Gray's side.

Heybridge Swifts also had a big away victory, defeating South Park 4-1.

Joe Pearman grabbbed two goals while striker Neil Richmond and midfielder Reece Morgan also got in on the act.

There was an impressive 3-0 away win for Grays Athletic over Hampton & Richmond Borough, while Goole AFC and Peacehaven & Telscombe also scored four on their travels to make it through to the next stage.

There were several five-goal thrillers with New Mills, Mickleover Sport, Histon, Maidstone and Folkestone Invicta all coming away with a 3-2 victory.
