England U18s will be playing Germany in Rotherham in April

England U18s will take on Germany at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium in April, as what has already been a busy campaign continues for the Young Lions.

Neil Dewsnip's side have played a number of fixtures at St. George's Park this season, as the gap between competitive UEFA tournament football at U17 and U19 level is filled for this age group of players.

They were most recently in action only last week when they beat Belgium 4-0 in a behind-closed-doors game.

But they will be given the platform of the New York Stadium for their fixture on Wednesday 16 April, when Germany are the visitors to South Yorkshire as England look to test themselves against elite level opposition.

The recently-built New York Stadium hosted its first international game last April, when England Women took on Canada there and the League One club will be looking to continue their association with the national side as the U18s' campaign draws to a close.

Before then, the Young Lions face a double-header against Croatia at St George’s Park next week, which follows swiftly on from the fixture with Belgium.

Earlier in the season, the U18s also faced Hungary at the national football centre which ended in another 4-0 victory for Dewsnip's side.

Tickets for the game are on sale now and priced at just £3 for adults, £1 for children/OAPs and for groups of 15 or more [bookable in advance only], it is just 50p admission.
