England U18s squad named for Croatian encounter

Dewsnip has selected a 19-man squad to play Croatia

England U18s will be in action again in March, when they host a double-header with Croatia at St. George’s Park and a venue to be confirmed.

The Young Lions, who also have a February fixture against Belgium at SGP next week, will be at the national football centre alongside their Senior and Under-21 counterparts for the games on 3 and 5 March.

And head coach Neil Dewsnip has selected a 19-man squad for the games with Croatia, as they continue their programme for the season.

Most of the players selected have been involved in Dewsnip’s squads and training camps previously this season, but there is a first call-up for Leyton Orient goalkeeper Charlie Grainger.

They played two games against Hungary at SGP last October and enjoyed a January training camp ahead of meeting up next week for the Belgium game.

The squad will for the Croatia fixtures will recovene for those fixtures on Saturday 1 March, with the first game taking place on Monday 3 March.

Their second fixture will take place at SGP on the afternoon of Wednesday 5 March.
