England goalkeeper Fraser Forster could be "the best in the world" according to Celtic team-mate Efe Ambrose.

The 25-year-old is on the verge of breaking the Scottish top flight record for clean sheets this weekend, after a remarkable run since the turn of the year.

Forster has had 12 successive block-outs in the Scottish Premier League and if the Bhoys can go for another 31 minutes without conceding in Saturday's game at Hearts, he will break Aberdeen 'keeper Bobby Clark's record.

And after playing in front of the former Newcastle United and Norwich City stopper all season, defender Ambrose has been left impressed.

"He is young and hungry for success," said the Nigerian.

"He is doing better than last year and he is improving every game he plays.

"I believe in a couple of years, he will be the best in England.

"He can be the best in the world and right now he is one of the best."

Forster has been a regular in Roy Hodgson's England squads and made his debut for the Three Lions in the game with Chile at Wembley last November.

And he will be hoping to be involved in next month's game with Denmark at Wembley, for which you can still buy tickets by clicking here.
