Kelly Smith made two appearances in 2014

Injury restricted Kelly Smith to just two England appearances in 2014, but she enjoyed a prolific year for Arsenal.

The Three Lions record scorer, with 46 goals, scored 17 times for the Gunners - and put in a Player of the Match performance in The FA Women's Cup Final.

Her first England appearance came as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat to France in the Cyprus Cup final in March.

And two months later she emerged from the bench once more, in the 4-0 World Cup qualifying win over Ukraine.

Smith missed Arsenal's annual trip to Japan in order to get herself fully fit for the new FA WSL season.
