Sarah Kempson bagged her second hat-trick in as many weeks to reassure Portsmouth supporters there is life after Ini Umotong.
Prolific striker Umotong left the club this week to join FA WSL 2 outfit Oxford United, after Kempson found the net three times in a 10-2 victory over Southampton.
And she continued her prolific form in front of goal on Sunday afternoon as Pompey beat FA Women’s Premier League South strugglers Plymouth Argyle 6-0.

Ellie Bloomfield kicked-off the scoring with a deflected effort, shortly before Kempson opened her account with a chipped shot from the edge of the area.
She had to wait until the hour mark for a second, which came from the penalty spot after Gemma Hillier was fouled in the box.
Three minutes later, Lucy Quinn was brought down just inside the area, presenting Kempson with a chance to complete her hat-trick and she did not waste it, firing into the top left-hand corner from 12 yards.
The floodgates had opened and Molly Clark poked home to make it five before Tash Stevens wrapped up the scoring with a header 20 minutes from time.
Elsewhere in the Southern Division, Helen Dermody ran the show as Coventry United coasted to a 4-0 win at West Ham.
The experienced midfielder got the ball rolling after just seven minutes, curling a 25-yard free kick past Hammers goalkeeper Jodie Sanderson.
Dermody soon doubled her tally, rifling home after collecting a pass from Ashleigh Neville before Maz Gauntlett sent a free-kick into the back of the net.
With just half an hour on the clock it was four, as Nat Lynch headed home a Dermody corner, and that is the way it stayed.
QPR recovered from an early Emma Plewa strike to clinch a dramatic 2-1 win at Lewes to move above their hosts in the table.
Danielle Puddefoot headed in a Sophie Fogarty free-kick on the half-hour mark and Elly Maggs tapped home the winner in added time.
And Forest Green Rovers are six points from safety after they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to C&K Basildon.
In the Northern Division, bottom club Guiseley Vixens held league leaders Preston North End to an unlikely 1-1 draw.
The Vixens led for almost half the game, after Katie Anderton headed in a corner from close range 11 minutes before the break.
They even had one or two chances to extend the advantage but Preston eventually restored parity on 72 minutes, when Danielle Young latched onto a ball over the top and finished with a deft chip.
And the table-toppers almost snatched it at the death, only for Charlie Blythe to clear a goalbound effort off the line.
Meanwhile, Sarah Danby hit the winning goal as Bradford City secured a hard-fought 2-1 win at relegation-threatened Nuneaton Town and Derby County preserved their slim promotion hopes by edging past Newcastle United 1-0.
