An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Lincoln City FC for two breaches of FA Rule E21 during its EFL League One game against Wrexham AFC on Saturday 3 May 2025.
It was alleged that Lincoln City FC failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters (and anyone purporting to be supporters or followers) conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and don’t use words or behave in an improper and/or offensive and/or indecent and/or insulting way with either an express or implied reference to religion or belief and/or nationality during the 64th and 69th minutes.
Lincoln City FC subsequently admitted the charge. The Regulatory Commission imposed an action plan and £8,500 fine on the club following a hearing, and its written reasons for these sanctions can be read below.
