London City Lionesses FC sanctioned
An independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned London City Lionesses for a breach of FA Rule C87.1.
It was alleged that London City Lionesses approached a player with a view to inducing them to leave Southampton without written prior permission of the club, and London City Lionesses subsequently admitted this charge.
The Regulatory Commission imposed a £15,000 fine on London City Lionesses following a hearing, and its written reasons for this sanction can be read below.
