Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor urged her team to enjoy their success after landing the Adobe Women’s FA Cup title with a 3-0 victory over Manchester United.
It brings a remarkable first season in charge to an end after Chelsea ended their BWSL campaign as unbeaten champions and also lifted the Subway League Cup.
“They really deserved that,” she said.
“We need to enjoy winning the treble, in England, it is difficult to find the right words to describe that.
“It means a lot for sure. I always say that at every club, I am the manager, but we need to have the right values.
“I want the players to enjoy it because we really worked hard all season, it is not easy, and I think this will always be part of history.”
