The 2025-26 Emirates FA Cup campaign kicks-off this weekend as the extra preliminary round takes place across the country.
With 223 ties at this stage of the competition, there will be 446 clubs dreaming of their own road to Wembley but for 15 clubs it will also be their first taste of the world’s original and oldest knockout competition.
You can see who those teams are in the list of fixtures below, along with details of each club, including one tie which pits two FA Cup debutants against each other in Yorkshire as Horbury Town face Wombwell Town.

Boldmere St Michaels v Abbey Hulton United (Stoke)
Named after the Scheduled Monument of Hulton Abbey, a medieval Cistercian monastery in Staffordshire, Abbey Hulton United are a long established club with eight teams competing in many Staffordshire leagues. Founded in 1947, they are one of the oldest clubs in Staffordshire.
Ware v AFC Welwyn (Herts)
The Romans are among the youngest clubs in the FA Cup, having achieved remarkable success in their first two seasons with promotion and league cup glory in their inaugural 2023-24 Step 7 campaign and then winning division one of the Spartan South Midlands League and gaining automatic promotion to Step 5 of the non-League football pyramid in 2024-25.
Tividale v Clay Cross Town (Derbyshire)
Based in Derbyshire, the club was founded in 1989 initially known as Parkhouse FC before taking on their current title of Clay Cross Town in 2012, becoming the third club to take such a name - the first and second had both played in the FA Cup over a century earlier.

Coton Green (Tamworth) v Rugby Town
Formed in 1982, the Midlands-based club are entering their 43rd season and run an impressive 18 teams across men;s and women’s football. They have the honour of hosting their first FA Cup tie at their New Mill Lane home.
Racing Club Warwick v Droitwich Spa (Worcs)
The Saltmen are preparing for their first FA Cup tie in their 40-year history, on the back of successive promotions in the last two seasons.
City of Liverpool FC v Euxton Villa (Chorley)
Among the debutants are also Euxton Villa from Lancashire. A grassroots club which has produced two England internationals from their youth ranks in the shape of David Unsworth and Sam Johnstone, they make the trip to play City of Liverpool.
Faversham Strike Force (Kent) v Glebe
Founded in 1994, Faversham Strike Force have grown into one of the largest and well known Youth Football Clubs in Kent. As a registered charity and 3-star England Accredited Club, they currently run 40 teams and will have home advantage at ‘The Mount’ when they welcome Glebe.
Raynes Park Vale v Forest Row (Three Bridges)
Founded in 1892, Sussex-based ‘Frow’ play in Southern Combination Football League, competing in the Premier Division (step 5).
Horbury Town (West Yorks) v Wombwell Town (Barnsley)
The home team, based near Wakefield, enter the FA Cup for the first time on the back of last season’s promotion to the Northern Counties East League, having initially started their journey in the West Yorkshire Association League back in 2005.
They will host Wombwell Town, who make the trip from South Yorkshire having been formed in 2018 when former Barnsley players Karl Rose and Doug O'Connor teamed up to create a new club to provide amateur football for adults in the area.

Blyth Town v Horden Community Welfare (Co Durham)
Formed in 2017 after the original Horden Athletic/Welfare club was transferred to a new club in 2016, they has regained the former club's place in the Northern League and are now set for their FA Cup debut as a new club.
Rossington Main v Moulton (Northants)
Founded in 1896, they currently play in the United Counties League Premier Division South at their home ground, Brunting Road.
Coleshill Town v Nuneaton Town (Warwicks)
Following the withdrawal of Nuneaton Borough FC from the Southern League in January 2024, the new club was formed when supporters and sponsors came together to form the new team. While the previous incarnations of the club had a rich history in the FA Cup, this will be the first appearance of the new team.
Sidmouth Town (Devon) v Ivybridge Town
The Vikings enter the FA Cup for the first time in their long history, on the back of promotion to step five for the first time last season when they were crowned champions of the South West Peninsula Premier Division East.
Portishead Town v Windsor & Eton
A new club which was formed following the demise of the original Windsor & Eton FC in 2011 and set up as a Community Interest Company, which ensures that its purpose is to serve the community with over 50 teams under its wing.
