An independent Appeal Board has dismissed an appeal by The Football Association (The FA) in relation to Accrington Stanley FC.
The FA charged Accrington Stanley FC with misconduct in relation to a breach of FA Rule E1.2. It was alleged that the club engaged a person who was not an FA Registered Football Agent to perform Football Agent Services contrary to regulation 10.5 of the Football Agent Regulations.
Accrington Stanley FC initially admitted the charge, but subsequently changed its plea to deny the charge, and an independent Regulatory Commission found it to be not proven following a hearing. The FA appealed against the decision, however, the Appeal Board dismissed the appeal following a hearing.
