An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed a six-match touchline ban, £75 fine and mandatory education session on Louis Storey for a breach of FA Rule E3.
 
It was alleged that the former Crawley Town FC assistant manager used abusive and/or insulting words towards a Blackpool FC supporter, which is contrary to FA Rule E3.1, at half time of an EFL League One match on Saturday 22 February 2025.
 
It was further alleged that these words constitute an ‘aggravated breach’, which is defined in FA Rule E3.2, and they included a reference - whether express or implied - to disability.
 
Louis Storey subsequently admitted the charge against him. The Regulatory Commission imposed his sanctions following a hearing and its written reasons for them can be read below.
