Yuka Momiki scored twice including a brilliant free-kick for Leicester City

Portsmouth and Leicester City booked their place in the fifth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup after seeing off Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City respectively.

In the all-FA Women’s Championship affair, Portsmouth saw off Blackburn 3-1 to set up a tie with another team from the same division, in Sunderland.

After a goalless first half, Pompey hit the front through Emma Jones, finishing after being set up by Sophie Quirk.

Five minutes later, Quirk went from provider to scorer, doubling the advantage from close range.

Blackburn hit back quickly, substitute Tia Primmer finding the net barely a minute after being introduced.

The two-goal advantage was restored soon after however, Sophie Barker giving Pompey the breathing space they needed to win the tie.

They will be joined in the next round by Leicester City, who eventually saw of FA Women’s National League side Stoke City, winning 4-1.

Yuka Momiki turned home Hannah Cain’s cross to make it 1-0 to Leicester, with Missy Goodwin then adding a second after a goalmouth scramble.

Stoke fought back though, with Millie Ravening making no mistake from the spot shortly before half-time.

That was how it stayed for much of the second half before a brilliant free-kick from Momiki with 15 minutes remaining. And there was still time for one more, Nelly Las making it four in injury-time to set up a trip to Manchester City in the next round.

On Tuesday, an Ashleigh Weerden double alongside efforts from Molly-Mae Sharpe, Mille Gejl and My Cato helped Crystal Palace see off Sheffield United and secure their place in the fifth round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

Sharpe opened the scoring inside six minutes with her first goal of the season - a low drive into the bottom right corner that proved beyond the reach of Bethan Davies.

The fleet-footed Weerden doubled the Eagles' lead after latching onto Annabel Blanchard's through-ball and firing home at the half-hour mark.

Mille Gejl added a third for Palace not long after the restart after capping off a lung-bursting run with a finish into the top right corner of the net before Weerden sealed her brace with a long-range strike after 60 minutes.

My Cato added a fifth ten minutes later with a close-range finish.

Sheffield United enjoyed chances of their own with Jacqui Hand forcing Shae Yañez into action and Maria Ferrugia narrowly firing her free-kick over the bar to end the first half.

The visitors were able to pull one back with 15 minutes left on the clock when Alyssa Aherne registered her first goal for Sheffield United with an effort from outside of the box.

But that would be as good as it got for the Blades as Olivia Page's unfortunate own-goal ensured Palace soar into the next round, where they will face Newcastle United
