Lauren Woods’ brace helped Yateley United Ladies win their Adobe Women’s FA Cup Preliminary Round tie as they clung on to a 2-2 draw before triumphing 4-2 on penalties.
Yateley saw off Marlborough Town to secure their place in the next round of the FA Cup after Woods had put them ahead before the break.
While Marlborough found a way to respond, the tie went to spot kicks, and the away side held their nerve to triumph 4-2.
Kirby Muxloe Ladies also progressed after a penalty shootout, having drawn 1-1 with Birstall United Women in normal time.
The Leicestershire side came out on top from the spot, however, as they took 3-2 victory on penalties.
Elsewhere, there was further tension as Whitehaven AFC Women were taken to penalties by West Allotment Ladies but also held out to win 3-2 in the shootout.
The sides played out a gripping 2-2 draw before the home side Whitehaven secured their progression.
Fellow Cumbrian outfit Carlisle United also qualified for the next round with a comfortable 2-0 win over GT7 Ladies.
Carlisle took the lead before half time as Katie Barbour latched onto a long ball over the top before powering home the opener in the 34th minute.
And they would extend that lead just after the restart as Langan reacted first in the box to nod home the second and put the tie to bed.
Maghull Ladies also enjoyed 2-0 victory over Southport Women, while Bradworthy Women held onto a slender 1-0 lead against Signal Box Oak Villa Ladies to secure their progression.
Higham Town Ladies will join them in the next round after triumphing 4-1 against Matlock Town Ladies as Darlington also ran up a four-goal total to beat Heaton Hawks Ladies 4-0.
Broseley Ladies also secured progression from the Preliminary Round with a confident 3-0 victory over Allscott.
There were also comprehensive victories for Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies, Bristol Brunel Ladies, Ramsey & Listley Ladies, Millbrook Ladies and St Agnes AFC.
Sprowston, Witton Albion Ladies, Oughtibridge War Memorial and Gateshead Leam Rangers all progress too after benefitting from walkovers.
