South Shields produced a penalty shootout upset over FA Women's National League side Halifax to reach the second round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.
The Tier 5 side came from behind in the 90th minute to force spot-kicksand walked away on top.
Halifax had already come from behind twice to equalise after an Ashley Townsend brace for Shields, before roaring into the lead in the 80th minute.
It looked as if the Tier 3 side were set to take the victory before Ellie White found the leveller for the hosts, with Eve Gatens finding the back of the net in the fifth round of penalties to send South Shields into the second round in style.
Peterborough also overcame higher-ranking side Billericay Town to seal their second-round appearance.

Billericay were leading 2-1 after goals from Abi Smith and Maddie Biggs, but an added time goal from Niamh Reynolds sent the sides to a tense shoot out, with Posh coming out victorious.
Elsewhere, Watford overcame fellow Southern Premier Division side AFC Wimbledon on penalties and Lewes also beat Dulwich Hamlet in a shootout.
There were dominating performances for Ipswich Town and Burnley who both put their names in the hat for the second round.
Ipswich put 12 goals past MK Dons to continue their impressive scoring streak, netting six goals within the first half an hour at The Martello Ground.
Burnley also scored 12 against Spennymoor Town as Huddersfield Town clinched a 7-0 win over Nantwich Town.
Saltdean United made history with a 2-1 victory over South London as goals from Kirsty Barton and Georgia Bridges put the side into the second round for the first time.

Royston Town and Kidderminster Town also reached the second round for the first time in their history with wins.
Accrington Stanley claimed a 1-0 win over Rossington Main to seal progress as Lily West produced a fine performance for Chester-le-Street United to fire them past Curzon Ashton.
West scored four goals on her way to booking a place for the Tier 6 side in the next round.
After a fruitful day in the FA Women's National League last Sunday, Northampton Town fell 3-2 to Shrewsbury Town as six-time FA Cup winners Doncaster Rovers Belles lost out in a 2-1 defeat to St Helens.
