Carlisle United FC sanctioned for crowd misconduct

An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed an action plan and £7,500 fine on Carlisle United FC for a breach of FA Rule E21.4 that happened during their EFL League Two game against Bradford City FC on Monday 26 December 2022. 

Carlisle United FC admitted that they failed to ensure that spectators and/or its supporters  – and anyone purporting to be its supporters or followers  – conduct themselves in an orderly fashion, and do not use words or otherwise behave in a way which is improper, offensive, abusive, indecent, or insulting with either express or implied reference to race.
