The battle to be crowned as England's best Sunday League team is on, in the FA Sunday Cup

The draw for the third round of the FA Sunday Cup has been made, following a busy weekend of second round ties across the country.

As the competition progresses we're now down to the last 16 clubs, who are all competing to be crowned as England's best Sunday League team.

There were 64 grassroots clubs who started out in the 2021-22 Sunday Cup, England's biggest Sunday League competition, last November.

And still among them are last season's champions Campfield FC, of the Liverpool Business Houses Sunday League premier division, who beat fellow Merseyside outfit Dock by 5-3.

Elsewhere, there was a 2000-strong crowd in attendance at Barking FC to watch the second round clash between Baiteze and SE Dons, with the host team edging that tie by 3-2.

The round dates from start to finish of this term's competition as well as match grants that are made available for entrants can be seen below.
