Wembley Stadium will stage an extra knockout game at UEFA EURO 2020 this summer

Wembley Stadium connected by EE has been selected to stage an additional match at UEFA EURO 2020.

The UEFA Executive Committee have confirmed that Wembley will now host the round of 16 match on 29 June, which was originally scheduled to take place in Dublin.

As a result, our national stadium will now host eight games this summer which includes England’s three group games, two round of 16 matches, both semi-finals and the showpiece final.

A minimum capacity of 25 per cent (22,500 spectators) will be permitted to all eight UEFA EURO 2020 matches in London.

We continue to work collaboratively with the UK Government and local authorities in order to achieve the maximum spectator capacity possible for the latter stages of the tournament, which will be submitted to UEFA in early June.
