Excitement builds as qualifying for UEFA Women's EURO 2022 concludes

Northern Ireland sealed their place at EURO 2022 with play-off victory over Ukraine

Following completion of the playoff matches, which saw Northern Ireland, Russia and Switzerland successfully qualify for UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, we now know all of the final teams who'll be competing in the tournament next summer.

 Hosts England will be joined by 15 other nations in a bid to lift the trophy on 31 July 2022 at Wembley Stadium.

The qualified nations are:

Belgium
Denmark
England
Finland
France
Germany
Iceland
Italy
Netherlands
Northern Ireland
Norway
Russia
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland

Each of the above teams will be drawn into four groups of four at the tournament draw later this year.

The competition kicks-off at Old Trafford on 6 July 2022, and will see 31 matches played to decide who will be crowned UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 winners.
