VAR will be present at the ties in Brighton and Chelsea in the fifth round
Two Emirates FA Cup ties will benefit from a Video Assistant Referee in this season’s fifth round.
There are eight ties scheduled to take place across the weekend of Friday 15 and Monday 18 February.
And the game between Brighton & Hove Albion and Derby County at the Amex Stadium on the Saturday will be the first of the fifth round to receive the VAR treatment.
The final tie of the week between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Monday 18 February will then utilise a VAR.
Full match officials appointments for the fifth round games will be made in the week leading up to the ties.
