Congratulations Javi, you’ve reached Wembley Stadium and The FA Cup semi-final. It’s going to be a big moment for the club…

It’s an amazing reward for all the hard work my players have put in this season and it’s good for our supporters to enjoy this special day. All the games are demanding, all are important, and this game will be against a very good team. But as we usually do, we will try to take our chances and carry on in this competition.

What has been the most satisfying part of this run?

I’ve enjoyed The FA Cup because we have played most of the games away from home, in different stadiums, against different teams, in different atmospheres. We also know we have to give our best in every game because we are playing ‘finals’ each match. Now we must enjoy this game and try to do what we can to reach the Final.

What has been the key for you this season? You have a very good team spirit…

We are not only a very good team, we are a very good squad and we have played well in The FA Cup and in the league, also. There are a lot of people around the technical staff and the players who have played their part this season. All the different departments are doing amazing jobs, and the results are the consequence of all this work.

It’s close between you and Wolves in the Premier League, have you been impressed with them?

They have come up from the Championship but are playing very well and have shown a very high level from the beginning of the season. We know we have to play two games against them, in The FA Cup and the Premier League, but we will be ready. I know their manager, Nuno, from when he was in Valencia and he has great quality, so what they are doing is not a surprise to me.

What would it mean to you to win today and take Watford to an FA Cup Final?

At the start of the season, I would have told you it’s not possible, but now it is very close. We are looking forward to the game and will give everything to reach the Final. It would be something amazing, something special for everyone involved with the club.
